Get the Win the Week app

Live competitions, your entries and results, in one app. Free to download.

Android

Download the app directly from our website. It is not on the Google Play Store, so Android will ask you to allow the install the first time.

Version 1.2.3 · 10.5 MB · Android 7.0 or later

How to install

  1. On your Android phone, tap Download for Android.
  2. Open the downloaded file. If Android says your browser isn't allowed to install apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
  3. Tap Install. Because the app comes from our website rather than the Play Store, Google Play Protect may say “App blocked to protect your device — Play Protect hasn't seen an app from this developer before”. Tap More details, then Install anyway.
  4. Open Win the Week and sign in.

Seeing “Unsafe app blocked — built for an older version of Android” instead? That is your browser's home-screen shortcut to our website, not this app. Remove that icon from your home screen and install from the button above.

To update, download the latest version from this page and install it over the top; your account and entries stay as they are.

Is it safe?

Only download the app from this page on wintheweekcomps.com. It is signed by WINTHEWEEKOFFICIAL LTD, and Android checks that signature every time the app is installed or updated. The app asks only for internet access, network status (so your entries show offline) and vibration. Payments are always made on our secure external checkout; card details are never entered in the app.
