The rules that apply to using Win the Week and entering our competitions.
You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom to open an account or enter any competition. We may ask you to verify your age and identity, and we verify every winner before releasing a prize. Entries from anyone under 18 are void and will be refunded.
Each competition is offered with two entry routes with EQUAL ODDS: a paid entry (which requires answering the skill question) and a free postal entry route that is neither more expensive nor less convenient. The free route is available for every competition and is set out on our Free Entry page. Each competition shows its significant conditions before you enter: the closing date, that it is 18+ and UK-only, any per-person entry limit, how the winner is selected, and the prize (including any cash alternative). Entries are final once a competition closes.
Payments are processed by our external hosted checkout provider; your card details never touch our servers. All amounts are in pounds sterling.
A paid entry is a service that is fully performed once your entry is registered into the competition. At checkout you ask us to enter you immediately and acknowledge that you then lose the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Until your entry is registered you may contact us to cancel.
Every competition is drawn using a published, provably-fair method (commit-reveal randomness) over an immutable, audited entry log, and the result can be independently verified. Winners are contacted within 24 hours using the details on their account. We may publish a winner's first name, county and the audit reference for transparency; anything more is only with the winner's consent.
Prizes are delivered to UK addresses only. Where a cash alternative is offered it is stated on the competition. Vehicle prizes are supplied without insurance or road tax, which are the winner's responsibility, as disclosed on the competition. If a winner cannot be contacted within 28 days despite reasonable attempts, we may redraw. Competition winnings are not treated as taxable income in the UK, but winners are responsible for any tax arising from their own circumstances.
Competitions are guaranteed and will be drawn regardless of the number of entries sold. We will only cancel a competition for genuine legal or force-majeure reasons. If a competition is cancelled, the default remedy is a refund to your original payment method; you may instead choose site credit. Any site credit you had spent is restored as credit. Free postal entries, for which nothing was paid, are voided.
We are committed to player protection. You can self-exclude or close your account at any time in your account settings. Support is available at GamCare and BeGambleAware, and we operate in line with the DCMS Voluntary Code of Practice for prize draw operators.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under law (including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Subject to that, we are not liable for delays or failures outside our reasonable control.
If something goes wrong, please see our Complaints page. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and respond fully within 14 days, and we will engage with a certified alternative dispute resolution provider if needed.
