Every paid entry is gated by a skill question. Answer correctly to enter - get it wrong and you're not charged. This is a core part of how our competitions work under UK law.
You never have to pay. A free postal entry route is available on every competition, with equal odds to paid entries - your free entry goes into exactly the same draw.
Before each competition closes we publish a cryptographic commitment. After it closes we reveal the seed, so anyone can verify the winner was selected fairly from an immutable list of entries.
Winners are drawn as soon as the timer ends and contacted within 24 hours. Cash prizes go straight to your account; item winners can often choose a cash alternative.
