1. The promoter
All competitions are promoted and operated by WINTHEWEEKOFFICIAL LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17328588), registered office 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF.
2. Eligibility
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland). We verify age and identity, and we verify every winner before releasing a prize. Entries from anyone under 18 are void and refunded.
3. How to enter — two routes, equal odds
Every competition can be entered two ways, and both go into the
same draw with the same odds:
- Paid entry — answer the competition's skill question, then pay the entry fee. Payment is taken securely off-app via our external checkout; we never process card details in the app.
- Free postal entry (no purchase necessary) — send your full name, address, email, date of birth, the competition title, and the answer to the skill question on an unenclosed postcard or letter (one entry per envelope, ordinary postage) to arrive before the closing time, to: Win The Week Free Entry, WINTHEWEEKOFFICIAL LTD, 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF. Free postal entries are logged into the same pool as paid entries and have equal odds. See the Free Entry page.
4. Closing dates & entry limits
Each competition shows its closing date and any per-person entry limit before you enter. Postal entries must arrive before the same closing time as paid entries. Entries are final once a competition closes.
5. How winners are chosen (provably fair)
Winners are selected by a published, provably-fair method: a random seed is committed (its hash published) before entries close, then revealed after, and the winner is derived deterministically over an immutable, audited entry log. Anyone can reproduce and verify the result. The draw does not distinguish between paid and free entries.
6. Prizes
The prize and any cash alternative are stated on each competition. Prizes are delivered to UK addresses only. Vehicle prizes are supplied without insurance or road tax (the winner's responsibility, as disclosed). If a winner cannot be contacted within 28 days despite reasonable attempts, we may redraw. Full details are in our
Terms & Conditions.
7. Responsible play
You can set a monthly spend limit, take a time-out, or self-exclude at any time in your account settings. Support is available at GamCare and BeGambleAware. We operate in line with the DCMS Voluntary Code of Practice for prize draw operators.
